What are my chances for getting into any Ontario medical schools?
My stats: In 4th year (graduating this year), GPA- 3.88, MCAT – 11/12/11Q, 2 summers of research, 1 international conference abstract, junior national marathon champion, president of large campus group, peer-mentoring, tutoring, random scholarships… Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Hey
First – check out Premed101 forums; it’s an incredible resource!
Second – You will very very likely get interviews at both Western and Queens (considering that they only base interview offers on MCAT and GPA). After that pt, your acceptance depends largely on your interview (and other factors)
It’s less certain with other schools, but on the whole, you chances look great. Particularly if you are able to present yourself well at interviews
Good luck!
