Tartu is a compact city and it has “walking culture”, which means that You can really walk from one location to another. No need to use public transportation, but walk through the Raekoja square to Your conference location or hotel or any venue You like.
The largest conference sites in Tartu (theatre and concert hall) are situated next to each other and attached to each other. The buildings of the University of Tartu combine ten multifunctional conference sites. A separate mention should be given to the main university hall, able to seat 430 delegates; the University research centre has three conference and seminar rooms of different sizes, which can seat 50-175 delegates. The largest of the University Library seminar rooms is 216 sq m, enabling 200 delegates to be accommodated in theatre style. The white hall of the University History Museum has a historic atmosphere, making it suitable for different receptions and conferences.
Tartu has a total of 37 conference and seminar locations including seating for 8,342 people, 66 seminar rooms.
